# When Music Meets Reality and How Easily Humans Can Be Deceived. # Rage Against the Machine made this video in 1999. It is amazing to me that people already had it in their minds that Donald Trump would run for president. If you skip to 1:04 you can see the scene.
## The Simpsons Also Predicted a Donald Trump Presidency. ## You can skip to 5:44 to see the prophetic Donald Trump presidency scenes.
## Pop Culture Has a Way of Predicting the Future or is It Something Less Innocent? ## Some would believe that there is more to it than just mere coincidence. There is a term in psychology called the, "illusory truth effect". If you repeat something often enough people will begin to believe it even if it is a lie. Watch the video below and be mindblown!
What if all of this was planned years ago? Trump was repeatedly asked on interviews if he would ever run for president. This goes all the way back to the 1980's. Did Trump or his possible handlers have a plan to make him president someday? So why not drop subtle hints in pop culture repeatedly letting our subconscious know that a Trump presidency was going to happen? This is what the illusory effect is all about. Repeat something enough times and our minds become comfortable with it.
