The Road to Success is Rarely Easy

![111.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmeUZVWmMxzcbJerY7AVkAeKVA89NAvD9gSQ9ExCTgv3x3/111.jpg) # "We delight in the beauty of the Butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." # In 2020 when we look back at the history of Steemit all of the difficult times will not be spoken of by the community. They will be talked about in ways that glorify the good that came out of the trials we went through to build a platform that the world needed. We as a community have already forgotten much of the BS that has occurred over the last year. The new folks have no idea about the difficulties we faced. Imagine what it will be like in a few years. The new people will be joining a platform that is ready for Prime Time.

## The Drama and Tough Times Will Pass. ## The great thing in life is that the tough times will pass. There is a remote possibility that Steemit ceases to exist but I would not bet money on that. We have some very smart people working on this blockchain and platform. I put my trust in them to figure it out. Keep writing, hone your skills and let's all become the best content creators we can be. Today I responded to a comment by @kyle.anderson on Twitter. I went through something similar on Google Plus where people thought the quality of content some people were writing was not up to their standards and should not be posted. I like to remind everyone that not everyone on this platform writes a thesis for every post. This is blogging and maybe Kyle doesn't know what blogging is. I can forgive him for that. I will also remind everyone that every kind of blogger on Steemit is one more log on the fire. I would like to see all kinds of nations, languages and walks of life represented. I responded with my private Twitter profile to Kyle. @knozaki2015 was the author of the post being criticized.
