Ryan has become a globe trotting professional blogger who owns the website [Blogging from Paradise](https://www.bloggingfromparadise.com). He's a prolific blogger with numerous original courses on blogging success and his books are a mix of playful travel stories and helpful, simple to understand blogging tips for online entrepreneurs. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, meditating and reading. He also travels the globe as a full time digital nomad, calling tropical locales like Fiji, Bali, Thailand and Costa Rica his home. What do you see as being the main responsibilities of a successful Steemer and blogger in general?** For me it is all about adding value and benefiting people with each and every post. I change subject matter on Steemit because I treat it a little differently than my blog. You may see a blogging tips video 1 day and travel pictures the next day. But I always intend to help readers in some way, shape or form, benefiting them through the content I share. I also believe generously voting up fellow Steemers and commenting on their posts should be a prime responsibility of ever user to add value to the community and to support other folks on the network. **2. What do you see as some major fallacies here on Steemit and what can be done about it?** The only one I see is the heavy attachment to making money with some folks. This leads to manipulation, and perhaps, an obsession to make as much as possible through all types of schemes. We fix this by being good, high energy examples for fellow Steemers. Create and connect and you will inspire some outcomes-obsessed Steemers to do the same. **3. What networking lessons can we both learn from and teach to Steemers?** The folks on Steemit who are really killing it generously serve others through their posts, through their upvoting others and through their thoughtful, genuine comments. Guys like Randy Hilarski are the gold standard for folks because they help folks out without looking for anything in return. He gladly offered to do a Skype chat to help me through the process of transferring and trading cryptocurrency. Awesome dude! **4. How do you turn into a Steem blogging cyborg?** I am doing a good job of it on the blogging front, by creating and connecting and commenting and guest posting, spreading my word. Now I need to replicate that strategy on Steemit. Perhaps when my blog takes off even more I can spend more than 30 to 60 minutes on this network every day so I can network and create more.. **5. How can members earn more money here as well as blogging in general?** Creating helpful content and building your friend network over the long haul are 2 proven ways to both boost your cash flow here and through blogging. Money responds well to generous bloggers, but most bloggers have a difficult time being generous because they are always trying to get something out of every interaction. The blogging and Steemit big dawgs are really generous, helpful, loving servants who solve problems, who inspire folks and who freely promote others a bunch more than they promote themselves. **6. How will you be of help to people here on Steemit?** I'm so happy to post helpful comments on posts and to upvote posts, as well as creating inspired text posts and video posts for my followers. **7. How do you see blogging changing over the next 2-3 years and how will platforms like Steemit change blogging in any way?** Blogging will as it has steadily evolved over time; the emphasis will be more on creating helpful content both through your own blogging platform and through guest posting. Google will reward you for spreading the wealth, both through your blog and through other bloggers' blogs. As for Steemit I believe the sky is the limit for the network and that it'll inspire bloggers to be on their toes.
