Songs That Were Seeds of Anarchism in My Developing Mind Part 2.

# Music is Powerful and Can Help Form Our Perceptions of Life. # When I was growing up in the 80's and early adulthood in the 90's Rock music and Hip Hop were my two favorite types of music. When I was relaxing at home playing my Nintendo or doing my homework I liked to listen to music. My favorite radio station was [96 WCMF](http://www.wcmf.com/) in Rochester, NY. This station played 60's and 70's classic rock.

The anti-war songs that were created during and after the Vietnam war had an impact on me. Even though I joined the US Navy after high school the music had already pierced my young patriotic mind. Like many of you I grew up watching the glory of patriotism on TV and in Movies. As I grew older and learned how the world operates my patriotism dissolved away revealing a big middle finger. Mr. Rogers was the man!

"War Pigs by Black Sabbath"
##
Generals gathered in their masses, just like witches at black masses. Evil minds that plot destruction, sorcerer of death's construction. In the fields the bodies burning, as the war machine keeps turning. Death and hatred to mankind, poisoning their brainwashed minds...Oh lord yeah!
Politicians hide themselves away They only started the war Why should they go out to fight? They leave that role to the poor
Time will tell on their power minds Making war just for fun Treating people just like pawns in chess Wait `till their judgement day comes, yeah!
Now in darkness, world stops turning, ashes where the bodies burning. No more war pigs have the power, hand of god has struck the hour. Day of judgement, god is calling, on their knees the war pigs crawling. Begging mercy for their sins, Satan, laughing, spreads his wings...Oh lord, yeah

My beliefs regarding war are not appreciated among most of the people I was in the military with or my family. Being an outcast is not a problem for me. When I signed up my church brought me down to the front of the congregation and gave me a blessing to go off and participate in Murder, Death, Kill. Now the majority of those people have unfriended me because of my anti-war, anti-government beliefs. They prefer to send their young people off to pointless wars rather than stand up to their masters.
