Most people get to see the ships going through the locks, and I have on other trips to Panama, this time my son @hilarski took be to a spot along the canal where you could stand right on the bank and get up close and personal. I even got to wave to the navigators on the bridge of this ship going through the canal towards the Atlantic Ocean and Colon. The aerial view of the ships in the ocean were taken as I flew into Panama. I am still amazed at the amount of shipping containers are stacked onto these huge vessels. I can't even imagine how much weight that might be. WowZa!
This last photo was taken at the Port of Colon where some ships come to be unloaded. This is also the port where most of the cruise ships dock to let passengers debark to enjoy some adventures in Panama. Thank you for stopping by my post, I hope you enjoyed seeing the cargo ship up close as much as I did. Until next time, this is Sunscape...
